Linda Davidson was born in the winter of 1965. It has been said that it was one of the coldest days of the winter when she was born. Her mother had to ride to the hospital in a car without heat. Her mother had a scare midway through the ride to the hospital; Linda began to exit from her mother's womb. By the time Linda's mother reached the hospital, Linda had been born on 12/16/1965 in the back of an old Cadillac. The doctors thought that Linda would not live because she was half frozen when she reached the hospital. After two weeks in the hospital, Linda went home and began growing into a vivacious young lady. Linda Davidson could have had her own singing career. Her voice is beautiful and melodic, bringing those who hear it to tears. She could not though; she suffers from a debilitating case of anxiety, especially when she tries to perform for groups larger than ten people. Linda's condition didn't let it stop her from participating in music. At the age of 24, she met Davis Prantley at a talent showcase. Linda was going to try to sing at the show, but she had an anxiety attack when she saw how many people were in the audience. Linda wanted everyone to hear the song that she had written badly. She begged a girl who was scheduled to sing on the show to sing the song. The girl, Toraysha Jones, was hesitant at first, but after a few minutes, Toraysha agreed to sing Linda's song. Linda and Toraysha went into the lady's room so that Linda could teach Toraysha the song. When Toraysha sung the song at the showcase, everybody loved the song. Toraysha came in second place. Davis Prantley introduced himself to Linda and told her that he was starting a record label, Prantley Records. He asked Linda to join his label as a songwriter. Linda agreed to do so. Some time later, Toraysha Jones joined Prantley Records. Davis Prantley, I has asked Linda to sign with the label as a singer, but Linda has refused every request by saying, "I am a songwriter, not a singer. I just happen to be able to sing." Linda is the mother of three handsome boys. |
